A Veterans Day Celebration
exploring Psychedelic Medicine

Friday, November 11, 2022 | 4pm | Austin, TX

As a country, we are failing those who have sacrificed the most. Conventional treatments are not adequately helping our veterans. Join us this Veterans Day as we examine the role psychedelics may play in healing our wounded brothers and sisters.

A screening at the Stateside Theatre of the documentary film From Shock to Awe, which details the lives of US combat veterans and their transformational healing journeys with alternative medicines, will be followed by a panel of experts discussing the urgent need for veterans to have access to these life-saving treatments.

After the panel, we will walk a few blocks over to famed music club Antone's, where we will enjoy food and drinks with music by Buenos Diaz Band and DJ Johnny Hendrix.

Event proceeds will go to Heroic Path to Light, an organization dedicated to the healing journeys of veterans and first responders. The nonprofit partner for the event is the SIMS Foundation, which provides mental health and substance use recovery services for musicians, music industry professionals and their dependent family members.
